"The components that create industrial objects and organic structures are not as far apart from each other as one might think. I am interested in searching for the values of which are similar, and creating a visual formula to make a compromise between the industrial and the natural. My body of work is the outcome of creating a fantasied idea of making peace with nature and the industrial world we live in: warping processed inorganic goods into forms that appear raw."-Nesbit
Tiffany Nesbit has graduated from Disney University, with the certificate of Creativity and Innovation and is currently majoring in sculpture at Southeastern University. She has curated several community murals in Lacombe Louisiana, covering local businesses for public view. She has also curated and co-curated two major fine art events for college students; “Somethin’ Funky, 2015” located at the Slidell Little Theater in Slidell, Louisiana with Artist Alex Bond, and “The Art Hop, 2014” in Orlando Florida with Artist Danielle Graves. Nesbit has much experience working in journalism and as a cartoonist with the Lions Roar News in Hammond Louisiana. Today, she continues as a working studio artist, showing in local Louisiana galleries and art festivals.
